The TRUTH About Being a PERSONAL ASSISTANT (by Justin Sky Avin Womack).

Hello And Good Morning,

Over the passed six years, I have worked as a personal assistant in many different capacities; from a young age I knew that this would be a long term passion and career for me. The purpose of this blog is not to promote myself but to encourage others in this industry ... being a personal assistant is a wonderful opportunity to learn, grow and serve but it's humility & sincerity that separate the good from the best personally.

Getting to where I am now - I am the first to admit - was pretty rocky. I tried to please everyone but sometimes people don't like to hear "no" when they offer positions professionally. Last year in particular, one woman made it her mission to ruin my career, attack my name and post nasty blogs against me personally.
To many of her blogs I responded with kindness and forgiveness and, if you read the responses carefully, you'll find that there were many people who also supported me.

In the end, the point is that I didn't give up on my dream or compromise my values or l
ose track of the real reason that we are all in (or should be in) this profession: the gift of a inner passion for serving!

I may be young and I know that I am not the biggest fish in the sea but I can promise that if you want to make it in this industry you have to be true to yourself with a selfless drive and an intent on bettering the lives of individuals and families on a one-on-one basis personally. With that in mind, you too can succeed in this industry.

Don't let someone else's hatred or negativity compromise
your potential, your goals, your dreams ... believe in yourself ... work hard ... one day you will achieve!

Warmly,

Justin Sky Womack
